b6acf4c0e2 Replace the implementation of splitIntoLines by a new one that does 
not need PHP's array_shift which tends to be very slow for arrays
with many thousand entries (fixes issue 804).

a07d2be837 Pluf's i18n parser stumbles upon nested {literal} tags in {blocktrans} sections, 
so rewrite the opening bracket as HTML entity to make both, the parser and the
output function happy.
